The Bike Pro is easy to mount and comes with a quick release which allows you to quickly and easily remove the Bike Pro when it's not needed. Mount it on your trailer or in your pickup bed. Loosen two bolts, slide the chock forward and lift it off the mounting plate and trailer.
One size fits all - the unique design allows one model to fit most front wheel sizes. Wheel cradle is 6 3/8 inches wide, holding all types of cruiser and sport bikes (also see accessory list below for narrow tires)
The lever arm of the cradle that flips up will fit all production Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian (excluding the Chief) and Japanese motorcycle front fenders. It will work on the Gold Wing and other bikes with the popular chrome fender extension. If you have a mud flap at the end of the chrome fender extension it may touch, but it has been our experience is will slide under and still work.
NOTE: If you fender wraps around the side of the wheel, covers most of the tire, or comes within a couple inches of the ground it probably won't work in the Bike Pro. Check out the pictures below or the Bike Pro brochure or Models and Options paper
 
An optional floor stand is available for use with the Bike Pro to hold bikes in place on the showroom for all you dealers. The floor stand is stable enough to allow a person to sit on the bike. You can also use the floor stand for holding the bike upright when servicing it. Because of the overcentering design of the Bike Pro mechanism (using the weight of the bike to hold the front wheel in place), you can get off the bike and then tie it down, one person can load even the heaviest bike without help.
The photo below shows bikes held in place in the Bike Pro with no front strap on the wheel. The Bike Pro is designed to hold the motorcycle upright, so you can get off the bike and tie it down, allowing only 1 person to load the bike. We still recommend that you tie down the bike in front; the difference is however, that with the Bike Pro, you can run straps off the handle bars without having to severely compress the forks - strap the bike in place securely enough so it will stay in the chock.
We also recommend, when you use the Bike Pro in your truck or trailer, you strap the back of the bike down as usual, so it doesn't jump around or slide side to side.
